Accelerate to South Carolina English 2

Accelerate to South Carolina English 2 is a short course designed to prepare students for success in English 2 aligned to College and Career-Ready Standards. It focuses on the reading and writing skills that will serve as the foundation for upcoming learning. Students will practice active reading strategies to analyze how authors use literary devices, persuasive techniques, structure, and language in their writing. Students will also practice close reading to interpret texts and provide support for written analysis.
