Exact Path Diagnostic and Arkansas ACT Aspire Correlational Study

This research study correlated scores on Exact Path diagnostic assessments across testing windows (Fall, Winter, and Spring) with Spring 2023 Arkansas ACT Aspire scores. Strong correlations were found between Exact Path diagnostic assessment scores and AR ACT Aspire scores in grades 9 and 10, across all subjects and seasons. These findings suggest that the assessments tend to measure the same skills and knowledge, and that Exact Path is a strong predictor of performance on AR ACT Aspire tests. 

In preparation for Arkansas ACT Aspire assessments, educators can use Exact Path diagnostic results to:

• Identify students who need additional support
• Prioritize content areas to focus on
• Inform data-driven instruction and targeted intervention
• Help ensure that students are on track to meet academic standards
