Exact Path Diagnostic and the California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP) Correlational Study
Full Report
Brief
Exact Path diagnostic assessment scores in math, reading, and language arts are highly correlated to California high school math and English language arts CAASPP scores in grade 11 across testing windows (Fall, Winter, and Spring). These findings suggest that the assessments measure similar skills and knowledge, and that Exact Path is a strong predictor of performance on high school CAASPP scores across the school year.
In preparation for CAASPP assessments, educators can use Exact Path diagnostic results to:
- Identify students who need additional support
- Prioritize content areas to focus on
- Inform data-driven instruction and targeted intervention
- Help ensure that students are on track to meet academic standards and graduation requirements
