Accelerate to Texas English I

Accelerate to Texas English I is a short course designed to prepare students for success in English I aligned to the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills Standards. It focuses on developing the reading and writing skills that will serve as the foundation for upcoming learning. Students will practice active reading strategies to analyze how authors use literary devices, structure, and language in their writing. Students will also practice close reading to interpret texts and provide support for written analysis.
