California Principles of Government and Public Administration A/B

California Principles of Government and Public Administration is a two-semester course designed to enable students at the high school level to explore career opportunities in the field of government and public administration and the career-related skills they need to possess as professionals in this field. Students will learn about the history and development of the US Constitution, the functions of government and public administration in the United States and working conditions necessary for safety in the field of government and public administration. This course covers topics such as: the influence of geography and technology, and networking and communication as they relate to government and public administration. The course is based on Career and Technical Education (CTE) standards designed to help students prepare for entry into a wide range of careers in government and public administration industry.
