New York Global History and Geography II A/B

In this course, students will get a comprehensive look at world history from the Age of Imperialism through to the present day. By the end of the course, students will have learned about events like the Enlightenment, imperialism, the world wars, the Cold War, and increasing globalization in the 21st century. This course employs many interactive features like maps and images with clickable hot spots that students can explore to get more information about things such as regions, cities, and geographical features on a map and artistic techniques and features in famous works of art. Best of all, this course is aligned to the New York State Learning Standards and to the English Language Arts (ELA) Standards for History and Social Studies.
