Exact Path diagnostic assessment scores are highly correlated to Tennessee’s TCAP across subjects, grades (2-8), and testing windows (Fall, Winter, and Spring). These findings suggest that the assessments measure similar skills and knowledge, and that Exact Path is a strong predictor of TCAP performance.
In preparation for TCAP assessments, educators can use Exact Path diagnostic results to:
- Identify students who need additional support
- Prioritize content areas to focus on
- Inform data-driven instruction and targeted intervention
- Help ensure that students are on track to meet academic standards
